For as long as I can remember, I was engaged in some creative form through which I could be expressive. Early outpourings, be they poems, songs, music on the guitar or piano, paintings, or pictures, offered the first glimpses of a life dedicated to the arts. Due to both the drive I exhibited towards creativity and the discontentment I experienced over works that didn’t meet my expectations, I became determined to improve in my expression.
During my childhood, I fell in love with my father’s camera, and pictures. I am now professionally engrossed in photography. This work is an offshoot of my passion for adventure and beauty, as well as my motivation in business. I get asked a lot “what do you love to photograph the most?” I love combining portraits and beautiful scenes, crafting unique, colorful images. I love working with people and nailing a look or feeling. I love watching the sky. I love water. I love boats. I love birds. I love photographing beautiful homes and elegant architecture. I love underwater photography and aerial photography.
My excitement is palpable and my enthusiasm for a broad subject base is obvious. It’s the whole experience of living a creative life and progressing as an artist and exploring the possibilities of what an image can be- I am fascinated by it. Photography opens doors. It connects me to the outside world. I have splashed into many ponds and set-out on the shooting stars of many ventures, and unto all of it is borne this art. Thanks for visiting! – David Scarola
